I am down in Antigua just now and anchored in Falmouth where I can watch the entries for the RORC 600 getting ready for the race.

Amongst them is the giant ketch Hetairos. You know the one that blew by the old Rambler on the long reaching leg in 2012..

I had a wee keek at the entry list and she is not on it.

Anybody know why? I mean I think the keel they clonked at St Barts on the Bucket is fixed by now.

Anybody up for a quick charter and a late entry on the big mean green reaching machine.

From what I understand from a friend, she's a righteous bitch to keep going in a straight line.

I was down there 2 weeks ago, and it seemed that the 600 was doubtful at best.  It just takes so much to prep these huge machines for racing, especially offshore, that it just bites hard into schedules.

However I'd be delighted to see that change.

Carlo Borlenghi pic - puts it all into perspective......

Well Hetairos had her code zero bent on and flying fine yesterday. Lots of heavy kit unloaded onto the quay.

But she is not among the 65 entries. Biggest field ever I think. Everything from a Pogo 12.50 to Athos the 203 ft schooner. Pre start could get a little hectic.

Rambler is listed as the RP 90 but ??

Which Rambler do think it is then? Certainly not the JuanK 100
