As if there was any doubt about how bad ass The Reverend Petey Crawford's videos are, take a look at this highlight reel from his 2013-14 jobs. And just as an added bonus, we've got a little contest for you. For the first 3 people who can tell us how many current World Champions appear in the video, Penalty Box Productions will provide their new flat brim PBP hats and stylin' shirts (thanks to Line Honors) for ya. There will be a special bonus prize for the first person to guess every single name of every world champion as well. So get going and tell us -  Whaddaya got?

This video nails down why sailing is so special to me.  Optis, C Class, scows, sport boats, Moths and Star Boats!  Not one of them stood out as superior to the other, which shows exactly how many great ways to go sailing there are.  Must be one reason why boats are named after women.

Is it there a rule that no shot can last more than half a second?  I know people have a short attention span, but this is ridiculous.

Cheers to another outstanding vid. You know it's good when just watching something gives an adrenaline kick.

Rev, I have only one request. Moar Greta Kruesi, por favor.

I envision a Greta Cameo for SA OTWA at Lake Minnetonka this summer. She will dig it.

You need to try a Blokart in the Summer and change out the wheels for Skates in the Winter.

Nothing like rounding the leeward mark at 45mph when overlapped.

Pretty much the same rules apply just distances have been expanded because of speeds.

Can someone who understands ice yachts tell me why they set the mast up to do that crazy bending the leeward in the middle shit?

****************************************************************************************************************************************************

I have NEVER sailed a iceboat, so please take what I say with a truckload of salt...

If I remember well what I was told once, the almost horizontal part of the sail will create a downward force that will act as "added weight" on the leeside skate and therefore allow more grip from the skates to avoid "losing it totally" and skidding sideways...

Now, I may be totally wrong...

Sounds feasible at least.  Thanks.
