Tried reviving an old thread but could not find it....  The bases on my Tanzer 25 have some cracks and need to be replaced.  They are aluminum and mount over the toe rail.  Google search of a zillion images have revealed nothing similar.  Really, almost any would do, but I would like to stick with two screw holes and rail slot to avoid holes in the deck core (it is solid at the edge). I've attached a photo of one that would work along with the original, but cant find a source for these or similar.  Any help would be appreciated.  :)

I'd send those pictures to someone at Garhauer.  I bet they could make them.

Any metal shop can fabricate you stanchion bases, just give them the old ones to work dimensions off.  Usually easier than finding OEM or specialist ones.

If your boat has a metal toerail integral to the base, I know of a couple of C&C's that have gone with these.

Holland Marine also has the C&C bases, along with Grampian and CS parts. It might be worthwhile calling them to see if they have any Tanzer parts, I know (think) they used to.

You might give these guys a call if you have not already done so. http://www.tanzerboatparts.com

If they can't help you then I'd go to a local machine shop

Try Holland Marine in Mississauga.  He has lots of OEM parts that he has accumulated over the years.

I've had good results with Whitewater Marine as far as making one-off parts to print. Might be worth a shot.
