Unbef***inlievable!
That thing is supposed to wet crew's asses, not shoesoles.
Not to mention details like weight distribution, righting moment etc

Last time I checked, lifelines had as yet to make ANY boat more beautiful, but that's how we have to do it here. Moreover, you know jack about weight distribution, righting moment etc. if you don't understand that the boat will be considerably faster with legs out, likely about 10-15 secs a mile upwind.
Legs in is comfy but so is sitting on your ass at home watching TV.

What a bizarre tribe yacht designers are - they still bother drawing ass-wetting (i.e. underperforming by definition) crack racers.
Just for know-jacks' ignorant excitement.

Of course I truly envy your mighty six pack abs and legs of steel. :o :o :o
But as for me, well... I have yet to exercise like hell to feel more comfy hanging in the air with my feet in straps than just sitting onboard and legs out. Pity.

There are 2 T750's here in Western Australia. I think one of them has a set of moulds. Will try and speak to one of them, and get them onto here if possible.

We've got 3 in Western Australia - 2 built here plus the T750 formerly owned by Pierre Gal.

The boats were built strip plank over temporary frames, so the whole lot would have been binned by now.

They are a great boat for Perth - the river is just off windward-leeward for the big sea breezes we get every afternoon in summer. They behave great and are fairly tough - a couple of broken rudders and a broken mast in 5 years.

Best fun - 2 sail reaching at 17 knots down the Royal Perth start line pre race...turned a few heads

Congrats on the project Jermak, looks like you've got some good momentum building...

How does your introductory price apply outside of Europe? How many boats will you offer at those prices? What is the shipping situation for these boats?

These would make a great club OD class!

The price right now looks to be ok and stable for a good time. If we do not experience any rapid changes in material prices we should be ok to maintain this price.
Shipping, some time ago I was checking 40' container shipping price to East Coast in USA. That time it was some 500usd plus taxes and road transportation to the harbour. This 40' container can take 2 boats at a time. It doesn't seem to be a critical issue.
I tried to talk to guys in Qatar lately and they were talking similar price of shipment. Never checked prices for Tboat home country or to Oz...

dawg, it's a sport, not a past-time like watching ruggers on TV or playing tiddly-winks.
you want comfort and no exertion then sportboats aint for you. move along now, time for the nightly dart game down at the pub, then home to pass out on the couch and drool a bit, if you havent started already.

Boat #2 is coming off the moulds:
This boat is black, unlike the bright Ozie ones
Deck will be white, for a change.

Weights:

hull - 92.2kg
deck - 87.6kg
internals - 13.3kg
bow bunk - 3.6kg (this was built on special request)

All items built on vacuum and vacuum will be used to laminate them into the
boat.

It looks like European boats could be finally even lighter than these from upside down ;)

Jermak,
You might be forced to built much stronger cran to lift the keel ;-).
Also since this is SA lets start bitching about the increased volume of the bulb and therefore the additional drag.... Just kidding :D .

Congratulation!!.

The boat itself is about 40cm skinnier than the other two t750's in the same club so to compensate for that and to to account for always being short handed the racks actually take it out by about 100cm, which at the moment is only just ( with our skills ) prooving to be on par with being maybe 1 crewperson down, any less and we are worse off unless of coures the wind is lighter. Just trying to be as competitive over the line ( don't care much about handicap )
