There is a folder for sent items however I am not getting copies of the PMs I send.

Can someone tell me where the control for saving copies is?

You have to check the little box that says 'save a copy to my save file' or something like that below the reply box for each sent PM you want to save.

The reason for this is so every message is not saved thus not taking up tons of server space because we all know the most you us do very little house keeping. Save only those you want.
