Trying to upload a profile picture, but whatever I upload, I get the same message - "The uploaded file you used is too big". The restrictions on image size don't actually give a file size (Maximum size 150x150 and k (gif/jpg/jpeg/png)) - could that be the problem?

no. Profile pics are disabled here. It should say that but doesnt.

Avatar to go on your post headers is not the same as profile pic.

You can upload an avatar.

You cannot upload a personal photo. This is mostly due to the small group of misfits that will most likely abuse the privilege.

Click on My Controls. Scroll down the left hand column to 'edit avatar settings.'

Yea, there was an initial period where the feature was enabled, when the forum was new. Then when we did an upgrade the feature was switched on again.

I promptly turned the feature off.
