congrats, now if we were to go into the same job interview, you'd get the job automatically because you sold popcorn and went on hiking trips (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Well done. It IS a good demonstration that you can see a long-term project through - you SHOULD be proud. What did you do for your public service project ?

Congrts Pal, for seeing it thru til the end. I know 1st and 2nd hand just how hard it is after you hit puberty and realize that vaginas are much more fun to play with than dead crickets or geodes.......

nice work. I'm an Eagle Scout too. Funny thing was our Scout master had an ax to grind so several scouts in our troop never had their Court of Honor. By the time a few people got around to fighting with National and organized my Court of Honor I was out of college and engaged. Probably the one Eagle ever to be drinking at his Court of Honor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ! For those of you who don't know you have to be finnished with all the requirements by 18 years old, and then your Court of Honor is usually just a few day or weeks away, not, oh almost 10 years.

Congrats, but one other thing, that "it gets you out of speeding tickets if you keep the card next to your license" thing is BS

I'm not an Eagle myself, but a I've been Scout leader for the last 5 years (and probably will be for a long time to come). All the Eagles I know are really exceptional young men. It's quite an accomplishment, congrats.

Congratulations! You have joined the ranks that include Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Steve Fosset and other high achievers.

I have regretted not getting my Eagle for years, being a Scoutmaster for a few years made up for some of it.

Now join Sea Scouts and get Quartermaster and you'll be the shit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Congrats, It's something you can use for the rest of your life. I earned my Eagle over 20yrs ago, I think my family is one of the few all of the boys earned the rank of Eagle there is 4 of us. One's a "Blackhawk" pilot in the 101st Airborne in Afghanistan, another is a sniper in the 3ID. I was dumb enough to stay in Detroit and work in the auto industry.
