The Elliott Overload remains slightly more legendary than the Shaws; her name is on the CC09 Trophy.
No matter the merits of their performances, 2nd and 3rd are now consigned to the toilet bowl of history as far as the CC09 goes. Winners are grinners, the rest can fuck off. Guess you must do a lot of fucking off eh Davy boy?

I don't claim to be an expert anything like you do F-bag, e.g. the 32's

agree that the boats behind the winner are arguably the first losers, interestingly it appears/reported as a tactical win, Overload split and it sounds like neither of the pair went with her, basic stuff maybe

nice attempt to link me to CC09 or the placegetters, i wasn't there, maybe just like you

There was nothing stopping the Shaw 9's going the same way as Overlaod... well done to all the 9m boats that broke the race record this year....

You fuckwits are ruining another otherwise good thread with mediocre insults. If you're going to do it, do it properly (cunts) or do it in your own thread. This here's for the Coastal Classic and some cool distance sportsboatin'.

Holy fuck; I think I just came in my pants! Fuck that was soooo good. Pity we couldn't see the numbers on the dials.

How good to hear the gusts being called in and to see the trimmer respond.

I guess Grelliott just had to be aboard for that ride - like him or not, it can't be denied that he really makes a big difference to any boats he's on.

No wonder they cleaned up and the Shaws got owned in that race.

Yeah Overload did a nice job. They were being soundly beaten, took a flier (or made a superb tactical call), and finished ahead. But they know that in terms of boatspeed they are second all day long compared to the Shaws.

None the less Ade - their name is on the trophey this year. Next time Rob's bowman should get so nads and put the MH gear up from the start!

Its true that in the beginning the Deep throttle was very quick flat running but they also got a better start than OL and KP. To say that Overload was second all day in terms of boat speed is Bull Shit and I think the result would be very similar if all the boats went the same way. I'm sure there is lots of great racing for the three boats to come so maybe Offshore 1 who ever you are, should wait a bit longer before you go banging on about how quick the Shaw boats are.
