Oh, I know quite a few. They just happen to be able to channel and manage their Anarchy to good purpose. Hell, I would argue that Olin was an Anarchist, a patron saint of SA. His competition certainly viewed him that way back in the day. I second his nomination to canon. It even has a nice ring... no doubt would have appealed to his humor: St Olin the Anarchist. 13 |

Hastings' view of Hamish is silly. He did provide a legal opinion that CNEV would be a valid challenger, but this is not suprising given the way Ernesto uses his lawyers. He tells them what he wants to do and then their job is to make it legal. Masmajean carries FAR more responsibility for the current mess than Hamish. He was the one who pushed for the "worst text in the history of the Cup" protocol over a more benign one Hamish and the sailors had worked out. He's the one who has made Ernesto think he could get away with all of this stuff and wouldn't get spanked by the court over it. Hamish is no white knight, but he has something that Masmajean and Fred Meyers don't: a history of negotiating successfully with Ehman and Erkelens. This sounds like an accurate characterization of the situation and what got them into the current predicament. The emperors new clothes comes to mind. I think its safe to say LM is on the hot seat right now, and if the 33rd protocol bears his signature I hope BOR fry him. I wonder how his discussions with RAK are coming along. |

That's the way I heard it too - though not sure about the highlighted phrase. Never saw HR on Vava with Camps or Cirivela in the dying days of AC32. Hard to imagine any of them sitting down with TE though no matter what the occasion. Hard to imagine a meeting taking place on the same day as that statement from TE too. |

I am not suggesting Hamish carries major responsibilities at this time. But, back at the beginning, before he was exiled, he was in it up to neck! However, Hamish gets along with TE. They did a lot of wining and dining in Valencia. Perhaps that is what they should (or will) be doing this weekend. Hey, let's not read more into this than we have to! 37 West 44th Street is a useful spot to bunk in NY. Price is right, it's central, and besides you might run into someone you know. They were probably downing a couple or three Mt Gays and getting serious about the World Series, or global warming, welcoming the opportunity to get off the soap boxes. Then again, the presence of two of the three Jurists suggests that the talk touched on how this thing is going to go down! |
