This is a training day of Sydney heads and a school of dolphins turned up. Brett touched one and the guy filming just stuck the water proof camera under water. so cool I love sailing

A few years ago while racing my Swift in Tampa Bay, FL, I came into the top mark on the port tack lay line and I heard an odd splash under the wing about where my feet were on the rail. When I looked down, there was a dolphin swimming under the wing. I could have stepped down onto it's back! It stayed there until we reached the mark. I rounded and he headed out to the gulf. Way too cool. Can't do that on a PWC. Sailing does ROCK!

Come close a couple times to dolphins, but never so close that i could touch them... Always cool to see them, especially when you're out on the trap. Had them come up real close to the keelboat though. They seem to enjoy scaring the shit out you, like, if you're lazing on the leeward side they'll come right up next to you and breath... Loud and unexpected...

there is a certain California 29er team that hit a sea lion or whatever it is out there, the crew then ended getting attacked by it... ive always been worried about hitting manatees... probably wouldnt end well for either of us..
