In Topic: Drilling Stainless

Some live where such refinements are not available, others might find it inconvenient to run out for one hole...does work. For some reason, TI is the preferred bit around here...have to travel to another town to find Cobalt, sadly.

Try mscdirect.com (MSC industrial) . You can get screw-machine length bits too; real stiff.
Before drilling into stainless, be sure that your drill is running relatively true. Otherwise, you're in for a world of pain...

And I second Tap Magic. Buy their stainless and aluminum fluids for the shop.

Good luck, and steady hands. Too bad we can't just jack up the boat and put it in a drill press...

In Topic: Atlantic 47 MastFoil™ Update

Ciao everybody,
I really like the style of Chris White to tell the story of how the project of the Mast Foil
came into existence and how it is developing.

I'm waiting for the Feb update :)
I noticed that the (incomplete) boat was up for sale on yachtworld already. Now... the boat is being built by Alwoplast right now, so this confuses me slightly. Perhaps the listing is merely for "first dibs" on the first build?
