I hope it's somewhere being well treated - it was a great little boat with a lot of history and the best name ever (it was an acronym if you didn't already know)

I remember the story of FUJIMO but never heard this one. Enlighten please?

I was a kid in Corpus during the worlds. I didn't get a ride but was like a kid in a candy store looking at all of the old boats. I remember Allee, the CCYC bartender extraordinaire, complaining about having to take a bunch of the beer out of the fridge every morning to warm up for the Germans. Good times!

I also remember a QT named Spread Eagle that had a massive transom with a mid-70's style TransAm eagle on it. Seemed awesome at the time. There was a story about that as well. Something about the skipper of a boat to the back of the boat to provide a visual that would slow down a boat overtaking from behind. Don't know if it's true, but a hell of a story.

FUJIMO: Fuck You Jack I'm Moving Out. Owners wife.

The 1975 1/4 Ton NA's were held in Hilton Head, SC. The winner was whY Why a Farr designed North Star 727 sailed by John Potter and Scott Allen. Business Machine was second.

whY why was smaller than the other boats. We had to add lead under the deck to make it tippier, cut the mast, and other thing to get it to rate 18.

It was rocket ship.
