What happened? RandNJ was supposed to call tactics--what happened?
Looks like she might have been driving, into other boats that is!
Great performance from the 1,2,3 boats in Div 6 Ebyra.
Either they suck or the 36.7 guys REALLY SUCK.

Women Drivers, that's what happens..... unless you are calling Josh or Mike a queen. Rumor has it that "Circus Act" forced them into the boat.
That would be a very false rumor. The Act had already crossed the starting line on the port side of the Comm Boat while contact was made to the Comm boat forward of the beam on the starboard side. I think Rand was calling for a barging start.
Actually, I wasn't calling for a barging start, but it did end up pretty close to that. However, since you fouled us in the prior race (and stated you owed us one since we were being nice not to flag you), I had assumed you would let us in when I called you on it. But, I guess I was wrong so the next time you foul us, expect to be flagged.
When I hail "tack or cross" and you say "cross" that is not a foul.
Lets be clear here. I NEVER heard you say "tack or cross" nor did I say "cross". That is just a load of BS and you know it.
Are you saying he is lying? No way, can't be, oh wait, now I remember witnessing an incident with him at Newport where he said the same thing, fouled another boat at the top mark they pulled the flag. Called them assholes so they took it to the room. He called his crew into the room as a witness, who then proceeded to tell it exactly as it happened and he got chucked. I was a witness for the other J105 and gave a nice accurate account, which was exactly as his crews account. After the protest, he approached the tactician of the other boat and wanted to fight him on the lawn of NYYC. Pushing ensued, and the tactician showed way too much restraint in my opinion.

If you're expecting Circus Act to behave in a Corinthian or Sportsman like manner you've got the wrong guy.

Agree with that, although abandoning a perfectly good race because the committee boat dragged its anchor is a pretty hard act to beat. Still, at the end of so-called racing on Friday, most of us were ready to take up golf.I argue that friday's two race day was even more ridiculous than saturday's series of false alarms and general recalls with out even putting up an i flag
The boo's on Saturday (?) over the radio and at the committee were epic.
Yellow Circle RC was so ridiculous, it became so painful and torturous that someone got on the radio and said "I don't know what I have done to you... but I want you to know I'm sorry". Never have I heard 70 boats boooo a RC as loud as the Red Sox deserve after this weekend. On the other hand, they volunteer so we can have fun.
Sounds like they were bigger fuckwits than you, but I really don't see how that would be possible.
