So here's my take on all this, right wrong or indifferent.


After speaking with several members off our military we pretty much came up with the same conclusion. The military is normally a pretty tight organization and I would be willing to bet being in a combat situation it would even more so. Even if you have a complete tool in your platoon, you don't throw him under the bus because he might save your ass some day. So having said that, why would like 8 of his platoon mates come on National Television and call him a deserter and that yes, people were killed looking for him? I mean shit, you might think the guys a dick, but to come on TV and proclaim him a deserter as well as a traitor, and that people were killed looking for his dumb ass, that's pretty fucking harsh if it is not in fact true.
