New to sailing in 2008 after having wanted to learn for 20 years. Took some classes and rented daysailers that summer. Bought a Catalina 27 in September '08 and have been continuing my self-education since. Daysailing in western Long Island Sound and a few weekenders is what I've done so far. Planning on joining a local club and get into weekly beercan racing to improve what little skill I have. I would eventually like to get into distance racing and delivery services.
