I think the POS&NEG are the really old style (1975???)


Later models are with the SIN and COS

Last model is with the simnet


To be sure, you could ask "LeCanard", he knows all these kind of things, or some of the B&G dealers like Miles or the other one, look in these forums.


I think they are NOT compatible, the old style is driven by CURRENT (ma), and the SIN\COS is driven by VOLTAGE

Yes, the newest version are for h3000 only, and use a simnet (like) cable.

Could be the even older system, not with sin and cos, but with a current (20ma)
Does it look like the bottom picture?

The strange thing is that the H5000 CPU box doesn't have an NMEA 2000 port, only network and NMEA 0183 according to the docs.


So you must use the WIFI-1 unit, this is not clear in the product brochure
