You aren't English except by nose adhesion to British ass, so drop the attitude and LTFU Francis.

Nope we are not English, but the Queen of England is still theoretically our head of state. Ergo, we speak and write the Queen's English, not that lame arsed version that you do. American English is lazy and one step removed from the crap kids sms.

The queen of England is still theoretically YOUR head of state and you call US lazy????  Wow.

Now that's funny, I'll remember that.

When does Assange plan on returning to Sweden to face charges of suspicion of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion?.

why would he return to face what reasonable people suspect are trumped up charges????

And why won't you take your schooling in the CFB thread like a man???

troubling :(

The Stockholm District Court approved a request from the prosecutor to detain Assange for questioning, it aparantly believes there was enough evidence to issue that ruling.  An international arrest warrant was issued, Assange is a fugitive after the Svea Court of Appeal rejected his appeal.  But I'm sure you know far more about it than the responsible Swedish authorities.  Since Assange is all about truth and transparency, why is he refusing to appear and address this serious situation?.  Alleged rape is not driving hammered on a Vespa, Gaston.  It is a serious offense, and Assange needs to be held as accountable as those he seeks to expose instead of hiding.  But then you know all about hypocrisy, I'm sure that is nothing new to you.

I have posted regularly in the CFB thread.  I have no idea what you are talking about other than your usual mindless homer Gatoring, which I usually place as much value in as what my dog left on the lawn.

I have not followed the rape allegations, and just did some digging into them.  Seems like an odd case.  With a rape case, they must look under every stone lest they risk throwing a victim under another bus.  But it looks to me like he did submit to an interview, based on that cite.  What am I missing?

He does come off like a narcissistic creep even if what he did with wikileaks broke no laws, so I am willing to believe the sexual assault charges are not necessarily a conspiracy against him. You just never know what people get up to in their private lives, just look at Sham-Wow guy slapping around a streetwalker-who'd have thunk? I am thinking Assange will be able to hold off extradition for a long while though, from what I've seen the wheels of extradition move as slowly in the UK as they do in Canada. It's hard to see how he will be able to top source Manning, so I'm guessing by the time it gets to trial his 15 minutes will have been up for at least a year.

In Topic: Interpol to issue arrest warrant for Cheney

If, as you seem to be suggesting, Nigerian officials are corrupt then not very.

I just hope there is a Nigerian version of Dog the Bounty Hunter.

That would be great.  Are we obliged to honor interpol arrest warrants?  I'm sure Cheney has secret service coverage right now.  Those guys could just bring Cheney in to face the charges.

AFAIK a red paper from interpol isn't actually a warrant. This is why Mr. Assange is still a long ways away from being sent to Sweden.

That's a good thing that the dog owners in question are being held responsible, but I don't know if it's much of a deterrent since just about everyone who owns a pit bull seems to think their own dog is harmless right up until the time it kills someone.

You really don't want racoons, the only solution is coyotes and they aren't very good eating either.

nasu misoyaki-Make a slice in a big aubergine and spoon some miso in there, wrap it in foil then give it a gentle squeeze so all the aubergine insides mix with the miso, and then stick it in for a bit.
