Does anybody know anything about Raymarine's new Evolution autopilot? Their website says that it will be available June 2013 and is a system that apparently autotunes itself. I'm hoping that it will work better than the Smart Pilot that I currently have. Here's a link to Raymarine's web page http://www.raymarine.com/view/?id=7008
In addition to the autotune/steering feedback algorythem, my hope is that it will steer deeper downwind when a gust hits as the new B&G system does. Anybody know the system price? Can the ST 6001 control head be used?
Has anyone by any chance trialed the unit to elaborate on its perfomance and features?
