Whats the best way to moor a 33' catamaran?
Customer has a Seawind 1000, which will be moored on a municipal can in a harbor thats notorious for not being much of a harbor. Boat has 10" cleats on each hull, plus fairleads for an anchor near the sprit.
Whats the best way to set up a mooring system? I was thinking about making/buying a triangle plate with a swivel instead of the single eye, and doing nylon bridles to each hull and then a centerline of dyneema. The center line would make it easier to pick up the other 2 mooring lines (as the boat would stay head to wind) and provide a safety line.
Have never done this before, so would love to hear expert opinions.
