Good luck to them, don't envy them though!

However the Green Dragon people have been sailing around on a boat that I heard from someone very in the know wasn't fit to leave Dublin Bay

Ireland is full of bullshitters mate....

I sailed for the whole of last summer and I was there through the entire refit. We took every single bit of that boat apart and reassembled her with a lot of new gear. She was in excellent ocean racing condition.

She was in good shape when I was on too, as long as you didn't motor over 6 kts.

True North (GD) is halfway across the Pacific, taking a minor holiday at Christmas Island. A little work on the bow was done there too, but otherwise she's nice and fit

Now has a fixed prop so that motor problem is fixed, finally! They broke a longitudinal in the bow but it is all fixed and I hear the test sail went well!!

Back Betty on the water again, anybody knows what the plans are and who bought her?

Im pretty sure a few guys from malta bought her. Wouldn't go near her though. The boat has been sitting on a cradle rotting. All they did was took the mast out and put it back in, the keel rams are so rusty it wont cant

If you're a Mac user, then ZyGrib http://www.zygrib.org/ is better. I could not get UGrib to work on the Mac, and actually prefer ZY now. Plus afloat, the file sizes are a lot smaller on Zy.

I downloaded this, but once i open the downloaded file i can go no further. Any ideas. No programs shows up
