It could be that they are playing in the order the files are stored in the filesystem. This means that the file that got copied on first gets played first. To test this wipe the card, copy the first song you want played, eject the card and play it in the mp3 player. Now copy another song and try playing again. Repeat this process for every song you want to play and see what this does for your OCD.
