Have been sailing for 30 years, damn that sounds like a long.  Have raced and sailed all of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay over the years.  Typical sailing on the Potomac River between Dahlgren, VA and Cobb Island ,MD.  Enjoy sailing my Lindenberg 22 around the cans in Dahlgren.  It has been a great boat for a low budget guy.  Sits on a trailer just gets splashed to go racing. This has held down the cost and maintenance. The boat has been successful on the local small pond. It is a funny boat does well in light air or when it is blowing.  With a reef in the main and the #3 it can hold its own.

Picked up a Catalina 30 hull 199 a few years ago makes a nice weekend boat mostly a bigger day sailor for me.  First boat I have had that lives in a slip.  I have learned a bunch about Atomic 4's and general boat maintenance.

I started a new sailing club on the Potomac a few years ago, Middle Potomac Sailing Association.  This has been successful with causal racing on the Potomac between Cobb Island and Colonial Beach.  We regularly turn out 8 to 12 boats on Saturday's.
