I'm giving a best man speech this weekend, and for it, am including photos to help tell the story.

The groom once hit the dock while helping a mutual friend with his boat on it's maiden voyage.  I'm telling the story (briefly), am looking for a picture of a sailboat mounting a dock.  Think hitting the dock at full speed.

Anyone have bad docking pics to share?

The 10th annual Ottawa Skiff and Cat Grand Prix is coming up quickly.  This year's GP will be on June 1,2, will feature some of the fastest sailboats out there.  

Expect to see some F18s, Tornados, Nacra 20s, Hobiecats of various varieties, and this year Wetas.

There might be an extra Weta available for anyone whom is interested in trying one out.  PM me if you're interested.

Last year had an excellent turnout of some great performance boats, with an impromptu open bar party on Saturday night. So come join the fun, who know's what this year will bring.

We're organizing a "try a small boat day" at my local club this summer.  I know that some of you have experience doing the same, I was wondering what advice you have.

The target audience is very broad, from seasoned racers to general public interested in sailing.

We so far have the following classes signed up to provide a sailor and boat to bring interested parties out:

International 14

49er

Fireball

Albacore

505

Tornado 

Nacra 20
