Home Brew Beer

02 March 2017 - 03:33 PM

There has to be some of you here doing this. I haven't until now and I'm 2 weeks into my first batch. They say I can bottle it now or go CO2 but the wort still appears to be fermenting and moving shit around!? Should I wait until bubbling stops to move on? Half is going into bottles and half is going into a 2.5 gallon keg with co2. I'm a little impatient and wanna drink beer!

My Ama's Aka's squeak :( Help!

30 January 2017 - 02:25 PM

It's a 2006 Sprint 750 Corsair. Was sailing yesterday in 20+ winds and one side was really noisy but it came from both sides. I've never heard it like that before and was really starting to irritate me. I checked the 4 bolts and all tight. It is cooler weather than usual for me to sail in so not sure if that has something to do with it. Sometimes I have a hard time fitting the aka arms down cause the bushings or G10 blocks are a bit tight on the front aka's. I kinda felt like those were the cause of squeaking. Just wondering if other people have encountered this and if there are any general maintenance that should be done to the folding mechanism??

Thanks for any help!

Not sure if this link is good or not but can only find the FB version of this vid. It's has very good clarity and quality but in my racing world we don't call tactics like this guy in the vid so if some of you could explain wtf the guy is saying with all the "early" comments, I'd appreciate it? I think he's calling out how far below the line but the timing or numbers don't match up with seconds.... I dunno. Guess I'm a moron racing on my little lake boats :)
