  1. Which blocks are you looking at? Loads between Master and Harken and other similar brands are the same. The difference is how they're presented. Master references load capacity per sheave even if it's a triple block. Harken references load capacity by multipling the number of sheaves in a block. A better comparison is to look at the loads a single block rather than a triple block. You will see they're the same. Also it depends on what blocks you are comparing. Ball bearing blocks have a much lower capacity than blocks with a bushing but are more efficient.
  2. We have a quite a few of the Trogear bowsprits here in Australia. This one on a Leopard 44 catamaran at the RPAYC in Sydney. What sort of boat do you have?
