  1. You're kidding right? These pages are filled with fat bald fanbots yanking on their cocks and jizzing out epoxy. I know this because I myself produce part B.
  2. The AC is more than just the sailors.
  3. Yeah well, three is the minimum amount of teams required to hold The Americas Cup. I'm fine with that because it'll mean no confused Americans wandering around asking if there's a McDonald's near here. You're welcome Trumptard.
  4. BTW. I still reckon this thread has no place in the SAAC topics.
  5. Agreed. Brilliant match racing moment.
  6. The Italians are on holiday and dont give a fuck. How was it possible that anyone thought the Italians would be reliable in any case? At least two teams appear to be ready for the arms right now. Get your shit together greasers.
  7. It's a bummer the Dutch wont be there. It would've added a little something to the competition. (Other than a big bag of weed)
  8. This topic should be struck from this forum. This is the SAAC not, some fanciful place where we celebrate billionaire sycophant wankers why cry like little bitches when they lose a few races and start something else up to satisfy some deep seated mommy issues. The GP series is nothing short of lame.
  9. Well yeah. We'll all soon be yelling "cunt" at each other over the bullshit theories and estimations from one and all. The same old anoraks will be in here, full of their own ego and spouting Trump-like garbage for the meek to lap up and regurgitate at the polite dinner table as their own. Its fucking disgusting. At one stage, many years ago, I thought this place was replete with civilised cunts. Perhaps, it's just the latter. Anyway. I've got a boil that needs lancing. I've named the cunt of a thing, Jimmy.
  10. Well. They can transition now. Not slick but, looking like it will be so soon. These guys are fast becoming my number two team. They're humble and just happy to be doing this right now.
  11. To hijack the current thing on this thread and suppose the question 23 pages of chatter ago, I think the following. In 2013 I was sailing my 28 foot boat around the Waitemata and watching in astonishment as the AC72 cats buzzed about. Then in 2016 the AC50 cat was still wicked fast but way more agile and it was again amazing as fuck. The size difference between the 72 and 50 took some of the stiffness out of my cock but, the maneuverability was something else. Going ugly early is going to be a proper spectacle. Concern for nose dives and sailors rag dolling into the mast and other ha
  12. Fucking saint.

    1. barfy

      barfy

yup. gotta hallo hangin on my bedpost

  13. Flushing Jimmy was the best thing ever done. America produces some very talented and gracious sailors. For Team Larry to recruit foreigners was insulting to every aspiring sailor born in the USA. This is one of the reasons I gave Team Larry fanboys so much shit. By proxy, OTUSA was an international team with a mostly Australasian crew on and off the water. Calling the team, "USA" was like calling an apple a banana. It was bullshit. The nationality rule for the team is good. For the sponsor, it cannot be. It'd be a very unfair advantage. Oh and good riddance OTUSA and fuck you
  14. In the vicinity of Westhaven Marina, Orams and Titan Marine they'll be finding far worse. Tin, copper, lead and a right old mixture of biocides. At the end of the day, that stuff is better out to sea than in the harbour.
  15. Does that mean this thread should be moved to the one design area in SA?
  16. What a load of nonsense. The tidal trend for sediment is West to East out where the spoil will be deposited. This is known as longshore drift. None of the spoil will get anywhere near GBI. Newshub asked some pot-growing hillbilly from GBI who knows sweet fuck all about the actual situation. Proper Marine Engineers know where to place spoil to mitigate the environmental impact. The zone as approved, is well outside the Hauraki Gulf and in deep water. Several hundred samples of the spoil have been taken and there's nothing unusual about the results regarding heavy metals or chemicals.
  17. Pah. And I thought you were an AC fanboy. Looks like you're just here for the pussy.
  18. Americans. No surprises there. Someone is going to build a lime as much as another will a monster. I'm banking on a Taniwha from Emirates Team New Zealand and a lime from Ben. I'm in Auckland. I've got a boat. I'm taking the whole 6 weeks off for this AC. What are you doing? Oh.
  19. You'll see a kiwi boat in June/July. The Viaduct Events Centre pits needs to be built so they can park and lift the boat out.
  20. VCR was nothing compared to Beta. Does anyone have some genuine head cleaner left? I keep being sold amyl nitrate by my local shop which is great for losening up but no good for a clear picture.
  21. Nar. He's no better a sailor than he is a man. Has he ever had to reef in a storm whilst grinning? First, second or third? I don't think so. He is however one of this centuries greats. I have respect for Laser sailors and Ben has earned that.
  22. The first team to launch an AC75 is going to be hounded by teething troubles. One is far better off waiting to see the mistakes of others and modifying to suit. Ben is likely to be a strong challenger but, ultimately will launch in July. All teams are likely to be in Auckland for Feb 2020 and practising hard. Ben is not hated. He's just another toff with a giant ego.
  23. Yeah well, that's where the armchair critics along with the prissy high heel and polo wearing shirt lifters will be sitting. The real fans will be on the shore or on anchor watching the actual racing with an extra screen or two and commentary playing in the background. Some poor, (and less committed fans) will be sitting at home with their TV and trouser snake in their hands. Meanwhile, the SA long term nerds will be frantically posting their incredibly insightful but inaccurate musings here. Once again, just like 2013 and 2017 there's a little news being spat out periodically
  24. We ponder the accessibility to the racing close up but, for the best view, as with any sport played over a large area, the best view is on a screen. For this reason, I'm having both. I'll be out on the water for sure. I've already apllied for 5 weeks of leave to watch the AC and been approved. My employer knows I'm a huge AC fanboy. The party atmosphere is going to be better than SF or BDA in that we've made it happen a couple of times before and know what to do. For myself, I'm looking forward to the lead up and training sessions as much as the Regatta itself. Are you com
