1993 J35 with later model 'bathtub' type cockpit. While remounting a mansheet block, I noted that the balsa core in the screw hole was wet. The deck is perfectly solid so I dont know if the boats cockpit was constructed to minimize water creep through the core in the cockpit or if this is just the tip of the coming iceberg. Thinking of rebedding the traveler a start point. Does anyone know how the cockpit floor layout on the boat was constructed in relation to solid glass vs balsa core?
