  11. Hi Gordo here. Unfortunately it is an offence under the Commonwealth Navigation Act to let of any expired flare, so neither myself or YA or anybody wants old flares. You can take them to Police stations or most chandleries that sell flares will take old ones back. Haveing expired flares on your vessel can invalidate your insurance Hopr that helps
