  1. Auckland to Tauranga race won by the Rapido 60' Trimaran Romanza! "The Love Boat" Woohoo, Cheers.
  2. First check in on this project for quite awhile! The perseverance & detail shown is awesome! Best wishes to team Triple Jack, this will be the last year! ?
  3. Sodebo is moving out! Just came within 38nm of equaling the all time 24 hour run record set by Bank POP/Windswept 2 back in 2009 of 908nm in 24 hours! She has the chance of cracking the almost mythical, 1000nm in 24H during this Jules Verne attempt! If anything can topple this then a fully foiling Ultime Trimaran is the best chance so far. Hope to see this accomplished asap. Gitana may be restarting shortly after a full check over & repair. Sodebo is moving through the Vendee fleet. Very exciting times! Cheers Anarchists.
  4. Following online & regularly checking boat speeds Venom was always between 1 & 3 kts faster than any other competitor.! Up till the rudder broke they were doing a horizon job on the rest. Also only the main hull rudder was being used due to some sorting needed on the float linkages. She will be much more venomous yet!
  5. Sydney results null & void, starts from scratch next year, Sorry Ineos, Makes sense i guess, Bugger.
  6. Hi Guys, your new cabin top is a "Brick shithouse" and possibly the strongest part of the boat. Following with great interest. Cheers.
  7. Presume you meant $250 Bottman?
  8. Hi & congratulations for sheer bloody minded determination and perseverance! What a job! So nice to see Triple Jack coming back better than she was. Looking forward to the next post. Cheers and best wishes.
  9. I have been able to watch all of the SailGP from Sydney on, live & without ads on the big screen TV via MacBook, VPN, Apple TV at home in QLD Australia. Awesome coverage, very little delay. If the coming AC does as good or better, Woohoo! Cheers.
  10. A copy of the rig on Paradox would be close depending on weight and RM comparisons. And it's been bulletproof as far as I know. Love to see Rosinante get another life world cruising as she was intended. Cheers all.
  11. Oh dear, First look for quite a while & I see nothing changed but for increased claims. Always entertaining though. Cheers all.
  12. Jack Petith, Heart of the storm, the night the boats flew, is a great read available as an e book. Thats one serious cyclone/hurricane i am glad to have missed!
  13. Was sold recently to go from Hawaii to Europe i thought freshly repainted and in one piece, ie with rig & sails. Don't know what changes to the rig were made? Have to agree with Rasputin 22 on that one. Also agree with Earth BM on cost of new carbon mast & sails.! Tri in Hawaii. Logistics? Love the Tri but?? Anyone have any more info? Cheers.
  14. Very sad to see the demise of this great attempt to make the superfoilers work! Sail GP unfortunatly for SF, has the backing and the world circuit to play with. Sydney & San Fran were spectacular, but it remains to be seen how they will look in non foiling breeze? Cheers all. PS Little AC also seems to have had its day?
  15. This cruiser racer Grainger Trimaran is getting very close to finishing. Go to Venom Sailing page for all the details! Cheers all.
