  1. I do not see the dorade boxes in this photo. Assume they could be removed when racing/sailing.
  2. This is the racing version. I think only 2 were built. Moonshine and La Pantera, both in 1977 for the Admirals Cup.
  3. Don't think so. Shockwave was a 1983 Frers and only had one steering wheel.
  4. Tina I Punkt at the 2 Ton Cup in Kiel.

  13. I was under the impression the owner had already made contact with the Carters'.
  14. I have an idea where it is currently located but have not visited the area recently to verify.
  15. Here's the info I got from an article published 2/27/2013 on Shockwave. Please see the earlier link I posted... Shockwave has been located in the Utah/Great Lakes area for the past ten years or so but has not been actively sailed.
  16. Here is a photo of Neville's Shockwave. The coachroof and winch placement appear identical, also the yacht was located in the Utah area.
  17. Looks like this could be the same yacht Anon0Troll refers to? http://rbsailing.blogspot.com/2013/02/shockwave-frers-43.html
  18. Is this the yacht you are referring to? https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/kirby-25
  19. Amazing Grace was a C&C 45ft design and the big boat in the 1981 and 1983 Canadian Admirals Cup Team. The 1981 official guide states the hull colour was Blue but the 1983 guide says maroon. Her IOR rating was 34.4
  20. Is this the one you are referring to?
  21. Is this what the type of Carter 35 you are talking about? http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=1496
  22. Recluta 111 was built for the 1973 Admirals Cup and Tenacious for the 1975 Admirals Cup. Looking at the specs similar LOAs and Rating so Tenacious probably a tweaked version.
  23. Found a photo of Recluta 111 at 1973 Admirals Cup.
