C&C30 Mk1, good manners and very stiff.
-
Ended up picking up a running 1GM10, hopefully can get the old one out and at least this might get me back on the water.

Put on some Andersen ST primaries. Wish I'd gone a size bigger.

We have a shit ton of fun racing our SC27, our first year of this boat (j24 before that).

0-60 feet down in 6.2 seconds. Excellent vertical acceleration, but only in one direction.
Special armour makes it unsinkable, just don't actually try to prove it.

I have found another multi-faceted wonder for the committee to review:

I admire the maximum usage of a 4x8 pieces of plywood and minimizing the number of cuts.
Why torture the plywood when you can just go flat!
I also am curious about the through hull in the above picture. Its outboard powered and the cabin shot does not indicate that there is a sink located there.

This isn't a mock, nice boat. Just noticed two drastically different marketing approaches.

Make sure you never take a black light on that second one.

My old tub, not sailing. Also, not covered in mussel shells and seagull shit like she is now.

Yeah, but that's a lot of steps when you are in a race sequence with a bunch of other stuff going on, you just want to hit a big button that syncs it - look at regatta watches, race timing systems (Velocitek's "Gun" button etc).
-
In the regatta mode, you should make a big timing sync button that moves the countdown timer to the nearest signal, for those times when you didn't quite manage to hit the button right on time.

I have Steiner 7x50 marine, I like them.

I find a lot of Brewer's designs a bit odd, but this is a pretty nice looker I think.

is that Seagull Dabbing?
I think it's doing The Floss.

If you tell them you support Sooke Sailing when you buy a full-size sail, they donate a dinghy sail to the kids sailing program out here in Sooke. I reckon that's pretty decent of them.

It's like two kids got let loose with a couple of rollers.
-
-
Not so often like that in the waters off Sooke though.
-
It's running a 2.62:1 box
-
The lifting part of the foils are down in the cabin, removed for ease of shipping.
-
I sail my own boat singlehanded almost exclusively, occasionally have my 5 year old son with me but he's not that useful yet
-
Boats look good, nicely done. Given I have a Mirror dinghy still in kit form that I purchased about 4 years ago, the likelihood of me ever building something like the 850 is pretty slim

Freeboard. White freeboard.
Why ?
A critical design requirement was to be able to properly dress in a top hat while below.
-
Yeah, my budget can't stand a MaxProp, my budget can't really stand this repowering exercise but there you go.
