Nobody has asked why a guy with more money than God was driving such a cheap car.

The one that pisses me off is when they blame the vehicle for the crash. "The car went out of control and hit the pole" "The truck slid into the ditch and rolled several times" The driver was just along for the ride.

I think your plan will be a winner. I haven't done it with G10, only with thin teak ply on 1/2" pink foam for shelving. It worked every bit as well as I hoped - as stiff as 3/4" ply and less that 1 Lb per square foot.

Simple - I wouldn't. -
You have to pass a test to get it. They are personalized with name, DOB etc. Rental boats were exempted which made a bit of a farce of the whole thing.
