Colin 11
Might just head out to the Vineyard to check this out. That time of year there should be at least a few days of full on nuclear conditions.
skippertom 0
Sounds like it might just be epic. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out there to watch.
robalex117 70
I am still a little confused on how the Ludritz<sp> event is a private event and what it takes to get an invite. Who runs that event and what did these guys do or not do not to get an inviite. And best of luck on the Vineyard although I don't see how they will get close to world record times. P Flados 198
FYI, I just added a post to the "Luderitz Speed Challenge getting underway" thread that adds stuff on the current VSR2 effort (where I started) and then pulls in some stuff I found on the Seb vs. Rob, Alex & others situation. P Flados 198
Video: . More at: NASSI on Facebook Martha's Vinyard may not have the raw winds needed for world records, but these guys are still just plain fast. Rob's best so far is over 46 knots and it looks like they are having fun. I kind of like seeing them run just of the edge of an existing shore, instead of down a trench.
