There was an Ericson (39?) perpetually on craigslist last year that had part of the dinette replaced with a keyboard shelf.

This boat showed up 5(?) yrs ago, displacing an even uglier proa of about 50' length, which moved to a mooring inside shelter island. The crude flybridge was added after maybe two yrs on the mooring.(change of owner?)  Never seen the mooring vacant. The proa never moved, either, apart from the mooring change.

I think the gooseneck broke, or something analogous to that.

It's not a PSC 34, nor is it a Valiant 32.  The offset companionway should give it away but I don't know enough about 30-34 foot double-enders to know for sure.

I think so....Southern Cross 35.  NICE boat.  If it hasn't been like that for so long that a swimming-pool amount of rainwater hasn't gotten in, it might be repairable for only a princely sum.    It would be tempting, were I in Florida, actually.

  I actually did some work on this boat at least a decade ago. She does booze & wedding charters just off Waikiki, puts up a stsl at most. There is no way she could be returned to even just sailing condition without replacing EVERYTHING but the hull, deck, spar tube & some winches. How they pay slip rent I have no idea. Very fast in her day if you had the talent aboard. But nothing is easy to do, even the top of the boom is about 6" off the deck.

when I took these shots even just standing on the dock I could see mountains of things that needed attention. deck delam, hull to deck joint looked suspect, rust weeping everywhere, basically a reef growing on her bottom on top of everything else mentioned. it's always seemed to me that hawaii is where a lot of once cool/fast west coast racers go to die. there was also that cold molded 80ft IOR maxi called momentum that was at ala wai for years that ended up on the rocks after that fucking retard "captain leif" bought her and to run DJ trips on or some shit.

It has been sitting for God knows how long with a hatch cracked and all the instruments removed., There are about 4 round holes in the aft end of the cabin that the wasps use to go in and out. Also the ospreys have been building a nest on it since spring.

She is getting a nice collection of barnacles, her sail is looking tattered under the cover and having gone a year with only half a hatch, I am wondering how she remains afloat. I caught a glimpse Through the broken hatch, of her interior which has the most awful flux of peeling paint in black and red colors. One has to love the bucket covering the outboard
