How do I fix this and what do I paint it with

2-Part is better and tougher than one part so I'd say epoxy then Perfection. You only need a little so cost is not a factor.

I already bought it so cost is not a problem. I am thinking of doing the perfection.

Pretty sure Interlux states that their 1-part paints and primers aren't for use below the waterline.

Good on the epoxy choice, but depending on working temperatures (California in the summer in my case), I'd go with 206 hardener for a longer pot-life and working time.

Be sure to give the repair several days to fully cure, then scrub it with soap and water before using the epoxy primekote. A couple coats, sanding with 320 in between helps fill in any minor imperfections you missed with fairing compound.

Perfection is expensive but it sure does lay on nice, even with a brush. I think the smallest it comes is the quart kit, and those are about $100
