I guess Dr. John's send off's got me in a NOLA mindset...

Let the tube roll if you want to hear some awesome Jazzfest funk!

Yeah, yeah, I know no real sailor pays any attention to him, but he's a guilty pleasure to me.

Luv to see these younglings nail covers of classics.... this Josh Turner kid is pretty impressive, amazing harmonies and the girl on acoustic fills is spot-on !

Buncha EMOs taking themselves way too seriously.

I've just listened again to the sountrack from the HBO miniseries Chernobyl.

By Hildur Guðnadóttir from Iceland, sampled and mixed from sounds from an active nuclear powerplant in Ignalina, Latvia.

It's stunning, dark, very disturbing, and a perfect accompaniment to this exceptional series.

Hoping the procedure completed without issue and a full recovery is underway.    I recall when my 90 yr old mother had spleen issues and it was day-to-day.    The sound of her back in bed after surgery was the best music in the world....    all the best to you and your family !

I totally forgot about Yellow Moon. What a great song live.

Here's one - totally different but good.

Well he really worked me over good
Just like Jesse James
Yes he really worked me over good
He was a credit to his gender
Put me through some changes Lord
Sort of like a Waring blender

Only Warren Zevon could write a lyric like that
