Australia hasn't shut doors to anyone entering from UK which is good. 

Unfortunately for anyone stranded in UK transiting before entering Australia (the are no direct flights) they are fucked.

Their flights cancelled since Monday as all major European, Middle East and Asia hubs have  shut the door on the UK. They now go to the back of ScoMo's quarantine line up for a place sometime next year. 

Upside is those stranded outside UK, those quarantine places are freed up. Downside is they have and more already been taken by those in Australia being placed in mandatory state not self quarantine by the states exercising independent border closures.

Equals more people overseas get bumped and stuck in high risk places.

Morrison was warned exactly of this occuring and was advised to correct system and how as it isn't sustainable.

Well this case not "a straw created by a comedian". 

All started by residents report and an email to residents by Mayor Nth Beaches and the comedian a resident, all landing simultaneously. Could have died there

It's back.

Victoria has recorded three new COVID-19 infections in suburban Melbourne, ending the state's two-month streak of no locally acquired cases.

Key points:

• The three new Victorian cases are not from hotel quarantine
• Authorities believe the cases were acquired from community transmission
• Victoria has announced further border restrictions with NSW

The new cases are from Mentone, Hallam and Mitcham and were not people in hotel quarantine.

A State Government spokesperson said the cases were believed to be linked to the Sydney outbreak.

The cases include two women in their 40s and a woman in her 70s.

Victoria's commander of COVID-19 response, Jeroen Weimar, said health authorities were supporting the three women, who are isolating at home.

"Extensive contact tracing is underway and as a result there are currently more than 40 primary close contacts that are being supported to isolate immediately," he said.

Mr Weimar said contact tracing would be done throughout the night.

He said he expected more close contacts to emerge from that work.

Five exposure sites listed

The Department of Health and Human Services has revealed these five exposure sites linked to the new cases:

• Century City Walk and Mocha Jo's in Glen Waverly between 1:30pm and 5:00pm on December 28.
• Katialo restaurant in the Eaton Mall at Oakleigh between 7:00pm and 8:15pm on December 28.
• Mentone/Parkdale Beach at Mentone between 10:00am and 4:30pm.
• Holy Family Parish Doveton between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on December 26
• Kmart, Big W, Target, Millers, King of Gifts and Lacoste stores at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre on December 26 between 9:00am and 11:00am.

Sydney's outbreak is not at all under control and Gladys seems to be too fucking arrogant or scared of her voter base to even mandate masks. The restrictions are weak.
