The fundamental amorality that underpins that country has always bothered me.

Money doesn't have feelings or morals.  It's an inanimate object.

The Swiss are pretty clever amoral bastards.  They accept anybody's money and that way they are assured that nobody will invade them. It's a great way to protect the country and make money instead of spending billions for their defense.  It's worked for them for many, many years.

They do stuff that weird to pizza in England - or did some years back.

diced potato

Egg

A lot of people don't seem to recognize the distinction between creativity and stupidity.

Was going to Aberdeen Scotland for work on regular basis a few years back.  Learned to order each topping specifically when, after the second time ordering a "supreme" or some such marketing term, the pizza came with corn kernels on it.  I am in the upper Midwest USA, surrounded by cornfields, and we have never thought to put corn on our pizza.

There's some very strange ideas about pizza in the UK, as you say, if in doubt, order the toppings separately.

Diced potato? WTF

For who knows what reason, corn on pizza is a big thing in Japan and Korea.  I don't know about the rest of Asia.  But all kinds of pizzas there included corn on the pizza.  Just regular old canned corn kernels.  And they normally don't eat much corn in either country!

Diced potato & fresh arugula pizza, we had one on the menu at the pub back in the day, delicious. Second best selling pie for a long time after people tried it and it took off. New chef with “better” ideas came on board after a couple of years, said fuck that and dropped it from the menu. Still comes up in conversation 10+ years later.

A ripple in the matrix.

Or, I just used the 'quote selection' feature on Bay racer's response to SJBs post and you responded to Bay Racer.  So you got credit for the quote not Bay Racer because that post belonged to you.  Got it?   ^_^

You misspelled "twat"

I just can’t understand what goes through someone’s head when they think this is at a good idea.   I get it self expression, who am I to judge.  But at some point they will realize that this wasn’t a good idea,  and this isn’t going to heal itself.

Ill bet the dentists likes the easy access...

I'm not sure what thread this should be in...

Saw this on SV Seeker today.

Should it be in the food thread?  Probably.

Hilarious logo.  I wonder if it helps or hurts the business.

"Dangerous" isn't the word I'd use to describe the life of an "NFL cheerleader".

Clickbait times two.

The story showcases the meager pay and strict guidelines these women endure. And there's no T 'n A.

In short, you're not missing much at all.

That colour was Desert Rose wasn't it? ;)

Starting off in a '57 Bel-Air should have made you a loyal Chevy man for decades, if not life.

Mine was more brown than rose. I bought it for $200 in 1967. It was a car.

Careful there Ish - talking like that about a '57 Bel-Air could put your man card in jeopardy.

Meh. Everyone had ridiculously collectible stuff. My friend with the '49 Hudson also owned a very early Harley. Another friend bought a new AMC Javelin off the lot. We were louts, we didn't care.

I was in that Hudson when it went off the road and backwards through the fence into the parking lot at the A&W Drive-in. Very exciting.

They were a little busy at the time. I recall we had to go inside to order while the cops and tow truck did their thing.

Bloke has his penis held to ransom by hackers who took control of digital chastity belt

Desperate, Sam sent the hackers the money they had demanded to unlock the cage, but even after paying them they refused to do so.
