Defeats the purpose of the One-Two-One?

Recommended Posts

3 people, 3 headsails. Seems like a good matchup. Except one crew appears to be a professional backstay adjuster. That could be an issue. No specialists needed for short handed sailing.

I like the high clew point on the jib.

This was a test day with North Sails last week. Some experimentation going on with the J2 in this picture. The flying JT in this picture has the new North/Future Fibres cable in it.

When we tried the triple head rig (pirate rig) on the 125 we found is slowed the boat down. Over 12 tws there was too much Lee helm to keep the boat on course. Maybe the 121 has enough been to support this.
