Wood Snipe Wanted in Mid Alantic

I know they aren't conpetitive.  I compete in an other class.  What I'm looking for is a project, not a basketcase. Something from Annapolis to Jacksonville would be ideal.  Anything stuck in a barn needing a home ?   gowansg@suddenlink.net

Look in the Craigslist thread if you haven’t already. Might be something in there..

One showed up today in the "Vintage Boats for Sale" Fb group. It's in NH, but I can't imagine that they come up that often (but maybe I'm wrong). I can't seem to copy the ad, but I'll post what I can below. Looks like a cool boat....

 

1941 Snipe. This little piece of history has been in my family for the last 50-60 years. It is an original Snipe sailboat, all wood, with the original sail and jib. The hull number is 4494. It still floats and comes with the trailer. $2,000 obo
