Dude.  All they did was add some spooky background music (to avoid violating her copyright, probably).

It's her stilted, robotic, delivery that makes it creepy AF.

I though Meidas Touch did a better job with it, at the time, than the Lincoln Project has, revisiting it:

Did Jared get her fixed after the kids?

Oh wait, that was mean. Sorry.... kinda.

I don't find Ivanka physically attractive at all, although I respect the professional skills that went into her plastic surgery. I am not a typical American product, I don't have any desire to get next to inflated-looking boobs and plastered-on make-up, and her air of vapid condescension is repulsive.

A shame, her mother (who handed me a sailing trophy, once) is a lovely & gracious woman.... still too much make-up for me, though.

The Trumps are hoping that Americans' memories are very short.  On election day, voters remember the last thing they did, not all the stuff that happened before, like the 200K corona virus deaths that could have been significantly reduced by better management, and all the lies.  Sadly, the Trumps are right.

Poor Ivanka, she's just misunderstood.

Being a Senior Presidential Advisor as well as married to a very important powerful man and a mother and businesswoman isn't easy.

It's heartwarming to think of her and Melania getting together on Sundays for a few laughs, swapping recipes and child rearing tips, having a few beers.......

Let's do some simple math here.

The article says the program has 3 Billion dollars and supports 5,000 jobs. That's $600,000 per job.

Something doesn't pass the smell test.

If you read it, it's an extra 1 billion for 5,000 families, or 20,000 per family

Advisor to the president Ivanka Trump on Tuesday announced $1 billion in additional funding for the Trump administration's "Farmers to Families Food Box" program.

The first daughter launched the program — which connects food distributors and small farms to help deliver food to faith-based groups and families in need during coronavirus — with Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue in May. The program has secured $3 billion in funding from the CARES Act and Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).

"Through our Farmers to Families Food Box Program, we are supporting over 200 farms and distributors and over 5,000 American jobs. This program is working for everyone, which is why we will provide an additional $1 billion for our Farmers to Families Food Box Program," Trump wrote in a Wednesday opinion piece for The Fayetteville Observer.

Actually, it doesn't say that at all.

But let's have your way.  The program now has a 4 billion dollar budget. Let;s do the math again being more generous this time. Let's say that there are 200 farms + 200 distributors + 5000 jobs = 5400 units. (This makes the assumption that farm jobs and distribution jobs are somehow not included in the "5000 jobs, but like I  said, let's be generous)

That gives us 4,000,000,000 dollars of total budget /5400 units, which equals $740,740.74 to spend per unit. Tell me that doesn't smell funny.

Look at some of the "people" they are putting in congress.  If she is good at choosing the proper district to live in, which will be one she probably doesn't want to live in, I am pretty sure she could easily get a seat.

All she has to do is buy (or rent) a property, and declare that her primary address. She doesn't actually have to live with those filthy people...

talk about a horror movie, that is really creepy,

she could be in a remake of the "Shining " I could just see axing down a door to Eric's room "Here's Donnie"

Or she could follow the foot steps of the X first lady (Melania ) and become a porn start, like the good old days with Epstein

What makes her think she'll be invited? She has no standing.

I assume that in normal circumstances, the outgoing President can invite any number of family as his +1,2,3,4 etc.

He's not going. Possibly as he's said he's not going, no invitation to any of the Trumps will be issued. Melania might get one.

Fun story - I have a friend who was in DC during the first Clinton inauguration. She bought  fake souvenir ticket (but very fancy looking - all gold embossed) from a souvenir stand. She and her friend were getting close to the VIP area that is barricaded off when a security guard spots her with her fake ticket. The guard figures she's a VIP and escorts her in. She stood a few rows back from the front near Jesse Jackson and had a good view.

Maybe Ivanka could try the same?

I suspect she carries more than a few sociopath genes, and she has been raised to be her father's daughter so she seems to have no empathy. Just like her dad and his failsons.

Different times.  My nephew worked on that Clinton campaign and when they asked for inauguration volunteers he stuck his hand up.  He got tickets for my mom and my sister/his mom, and his girlfriend at the time for the VIP area and were very impressed, but we wondered where he had wandered off to...until we saw him.  He was on the dais and was holding the bible out between the Chief Justice and Clinton.

Then we went to find bleacher seats for the parade.  We had our neck chains and the SS guided us to pretty good front row seats.  Except his girlfriend.  The SS looked at her ticket and did a double take and led her off to the next set of stands, where they plunked her down - next to a chair that said "Reserved, Chelsea Clinton".

Never a pat down, no purse search, not a question asked, just a glance and an escort.  The girlfriend was totally freaked and actually very pissed off at my nephew.

Too bad.  She was really, really hot.  Smart too.  Yale law.
