Steam Flyer 5,304
If she's acted as a partisan warrior, then she isn't the one to put in charge of OMB Of course, whoever Biden picks will be accused by Republicans... look at how they treated Merrick Garland. But if there is any substance to those accusations, then further down the road it will damage OMB and the credibility of non-partisan professionals in gov't - DSK
Ease the sheet. 1,424
I'd actually be surprised if there was any body who didn't post partisan stuff. Seems a strange bar to set.
Navig8tor 1,253
So let me get this straight Neera says something partisan in a tweet and the R's clutch their pearls and say she's not playing nice, WTF? Reminder: Six months ago if an R had done that he/she would be promoted to a job way out of their pay scale especially if the tweets had referred glowingly to the former one, and context was optional . She is a lightweight compared to that and shame on us for letting Trump get away with 32,500 lies in four years. The people complaining about Tanden are some of the most bellicose assholes on Twitter, and in print. If anything else, Joe Biden would have kept her in line and he should have the Cabinet he wants. Kicking her to the curb is a mistake.

Now she can take a position that doesn’t require confirmation and the “mean tweet” hypocrites have gone on record. The WH had to know that she tweeted about Sen Manchin’s epi-pen-CEO daughter. kent_island_sailor 3,697
This is the political version of the "attractive nuisance" you put out for the local code enforcement inspector. I am so sorry about that junk car I parked in my front yard, I'll make sure and get rid of it right away! * said junked car was borrowed from Uncle Jed for the day and the inspector feels happy and doesn't notice the whorehouse, nuclear waste dump, and pig farm in the back yard
