Who knew a 9 minute video of him killing someone would result in him being found guilty of killing someone.

So my one serious question to any smart folks here......what or why in the flying fuk did Chauvin hope to accomplish by kneeling on this guy for 10 g-damn minutes? Why didn't all four cops there just f'ng handcuff & and zip tie this felonious prick inside of 2-1/2 minutes, roll him on his back and wait for the fork lift guy to show and stuff him in the paddy wagon and cart him off to the hospital or the jail? Seriously, wtf was Chauvin's reason for this shit----'Cuz I honestly doubt it's in the Police Officer's Handbook.....

Well, the first thing to point out (if you're defending Derek Chauvin) is that George Floyd would have died anyway. We're all going to die, some day. Chauvin absolutely did not CAUSE Floyd's death, his mother did by giving birth to him.

Would Floyd have died during that exact nine minute interval, had Chauvin not knelt upon his neck? Get the fuck out of here and stop asking namby-pamby ass questions like that!

See this is the heart of the matter and is the reason they added the 3rd degree charge.  To convict for murder two, the prosecution has to prove to the satisfaction of the jury that Chauvin intended to kill.  That is going to be hard to do.

As an officer of the law he's supposed to know better. Had he been just anybody maybe 3, but for him 2 seems in the cards.

Jerk-Z must be related to Woofsey.  Or he is a cruise-loving sock.  Or has an ego of tRumpian proportions.

Now he wants to see the "evidence" behind the Coronor's autopsy report.  Thanks to his years of training, along with his advanced degrees in physics, medicine, micro-biology and crime reporting, he's standing ready to interpret that evidence for us.

So, you're trying to lead this in a partisan direction?

Most police unions were very enthusiastic about supporting Trump.

Notable exceptions are ones that think Trumps' "don't be too nice to prisoners, don't be too careful not to bang their heads on your police cars" was horrible. But then again, most people who are enthusiastic supporters of police brutality envision the police being brutal to -other- people

I do not believe it would be accurate to say that there is a 'party' that runs Minneapolis.  In fact the Minneapolis city government is structured in such a way that there isn't any person or group could be said to 'run' it at all.

1 hour ago, El Mariachi said:

The Police Chief isn't elected.  The Police Chief has limited ability to influence the unionized, entrenched rank-and-file officers.  It's a department that doesn't answer to anyone but itself, which is a huge part of the problem.

The only way you change a racist police department is to fire them and start over.

Isn't a male juror a pharmacist?

Juror 2:

A white man in his 20s. He's from Minneapolis and works as a chemist. Because of his profession, he said, "I consider myself a pretty logical person…I rely on facts and logic and what's in front of me. Opinion and facts are important distinctions for me." He said he has a generally favorable view of the Black Lives Matter movement but added that "I think all lives matter equally" and that the "Blue Lives Matter" message among police advocates is a counter viewpoint that isn't necessary. He has not viewed the bystander video of George Floyd's death. He has visited 38thand Chicago where Floyd was killed because he and his fiancé considered moving to the area.

Surely that's better than "the drug store" :D

I suppose it depends on what you're buying.... Want Heroin, Cocaine, Fentanyl, XTC, you go to a druggie. If you want Ambien, Pantaprozole, Doxcycline or Gabapentin, you go to a pharmacy.

Maybe we could meet out front on the footpath to chat about words with missing "U"s....

Oh OK. We generically call them chemists.

I used to call my dealer ‘the Chemist’.

Those were the days! The nights weren’t bad either.

Apparently you're just another menstruating cunt that can't differentiate a real news story from the company/source/agency it was posted up by. Breirtbart has NOTHING to do with the facts of this story----they only reposted it. If you're too stupid to figure out how this shit actually works in the real world.....then you have absolutely NO business voting for anything more important than a high school hall monitor.....

maybe it was 'taken out of context', you know, fkn' breitfart 'n all. that place is a festering shit hole.

you're regurgitating shit propaganda made by and for stupid assholes. so there's that..

congratulations.

sigh. It's not an organisation and she's not threatening anyone. It's a no brainer that all hell will break loose if Chauvin gets off.

“If George Floyd’s murderer is not sentenced, just know that all hell is gonna break loose,” Echols said in a now-removed video (see below). “Don’t be surprised when building are on fire. Just sayin’.”
