JBoats to bring back J90

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I heard the same from the European distributor. They think they can retrofit foils to it and it's going to be huge in the Swiss lake sailing scene.

I'm getting a big April Fool's vibe.  But regardless, that would be awesome.  From the April Fool's bit on the FP, does no one remember the 2 gorgeous J/65's???

The Johnstone kids are also discussing updating the J/35 with a turbo rig and bigger headsail so it will finally quit being such an utter pig upwind, shaving a thousand or so off the keel and going with a bulb and a little more depth, and a bigger spinnaker (and more spartan interior) to help it keep up with sportier newer boats in PHRF and ORC, with a $49k target price, same as the original.  I can't wait!
