You are oversimplifying the CO2 relationship to the greening. You left out little facts like: * a great amount of the greening is new plant life growing on formerly frozen ground * the warming has accelerated growth * the total new greening is largely supported by higher temperatures *And on snd on. n

But higher temperatures are also a benefit for life on Earth. After all, we are in an ice age. Is it your opinion that an ice age is the optimum climate for life on Earth?
A3A 128
Mother Earth is sick. Every day we feel her fevers, chills and tremors; infected by humans dumping trash and toxins into her lakes, rivers and oceans, while spewing poison gases into her air and scraping her forests clean. We’ve decimated populations of other living beings and our own species through ignorance and greed. No wonder Mother Earth is ramping up her defenses with hurricanes, wildfires and earthquakes. Maybe Covid -19 is her antibody trying to rid her of the human virus. Nature is going to win in the long run, because she is far stronger than us and we are too busy fighting each other over who gets to tell who how they have to live.

There is simply no case to be made for that. Life on Earth is on the rise. Wildfires are significantly lower than a century ago. Hurricanes have been happening since long before humans walked the earth.

justsomeguy! 1,032
End Permian (252 million years ago): Earth’s largest extinction event, decimating most marine species such as all trilobites, plus insects and other terrestrial animals. Most scientific evidence suggests the causes were global warming and atmospheric changes associated with huge volcanic eruptions in what is now Siberia.
