irlsailor 0
Hi folks ik going to buy a cheap old Ovington flying 15. No centre console, old anti fouling applied. if I want to get the hull reasonably sound again myself what would the process be? Longboard, fairing compound, prime and then spray paint? many thanks

Caustic 6
Can you spray anti-fouling paint? Although I am not sure I would want to even if I could, I prefer my heavy metals to not be airborne.
SloopJonB 12,619
I just bought two cans of Micron CSC - it says right on the can "Not for spray application, brush or roller only". It's so thick you'd need a tip the size of a garden hose anyway or you'd have to thin it into ineffectiveness.
