I have a new to me J92S and since it was already wired, I added a second battery. Does anyone understand the switches and why one is unable to isolate one battery? I have no idea if the second battery is even contributing. The wiring diagram suggests there is a third mystery switch somewhere unless I’m misinterpreting it. Thanks.

From the owner's manual (https://www.jowners.org/images/docs/j92s/manual J92S GB.pdf):

5.3. SECOND BATTERY OPTION
Your boat can be equipped with a second 75A battery as option. In this case, the batteries are separated, one dedicated to ancillary equipment, one dedicated to engine. A third cut-out is installed for the “+” of the second battery. The load balancer is installed between alternator and batteries for reloading both batteries.

So then once second battery is connected and the circuit is complete, I can trust the balancer is working and one battery becomes the service and the other the starting? Thanks.
