NC LT Governor Declarers 'Christian Patriots' Will 'Own This Nation and Rule This Nation'

Recommended Posts

Here we go again,

Robinson began his speech by thanking God and declaring that anyone who doesn’t agree that the United States is a Christian nation is free to go live somewhere else.

“You can leave God’s country, and we will not miss you,” Robinson said.

Later, Robinson told the crowd that they are God’s regiment on Earth and “the living embodiment” of all those who have sacrificed their lives in defense of this nation.

“Tell our enemies on the other side of the aisle that will drag this nation down into a socialist hellhole that you will only do it as you run past me laying on the ground, choking on my own blood because I will not give up this nation to you!” Robinson bellowed. It is not yours. You did not build it, you did not defend it, and you will not own it. We will. The Christian patriots of this nation will own this nation and rule this nation and help freedom survive for future generations.”

Lt. Governor Robinson has a problem.

He has the wrong skin color to rally the Trumpublicans behind him, so he has to be extra cray-cray.

From what I've seen, he's a fairly smart and capable man, but I don't understand why he thinks he has a future as a Republican. He was literally the highest ranking Republican elected official at two of Trump's rallies here, and was given a very minor, very short, speaking slot. Ignored.

I wonder what he was told privately.

He is saying the correct things and will be used as the "look at my AA over there" example in an attempt to gain support from minority evangelicals for the Trump MAGAA return.  It won't take much to make that happen.

The Inquisition?

Christians "spreading the word of Christ" are responsible for more deaths than any of could imagine.

All this crap started when religious zealots stopped preaching about God, and started preaching like they were God.

Jesus cuts my neighbor's lawn. Next time he's there I'll go ask him what he thinks about this kinda shit. Sometimes it's Jose, but I can wait on when it's Jesus. I don't think the religinuts want to hear the word of Jose.

Jesus, save me from your followers.

Most of the right wing evangelnuts wouldn’t recognize Jesus if he showed up with a sign around his neck proclaiming that he was the lord and savior.

Lt.-Gov.-Mark-Robinson.jpg?w=1200&h=675&crop=1

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – On the heels of being under fire for homophobic and transphobic comments, North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) said there’s a good chance he will run for governor.

On Tuesday, Robinson was a guest on “The Awakening with Bishop E.W. Jackson” where he said that he’s “95 percent sure” he’s running for governor in North Carolina in 2024.

While Robinson said more than once that he hasn’t officially announced that he will run, he called entering the race a “logical step.”

Couple of folks on Twitter commented that they have or are going to move to blue states to feel safer than now.

If all the sane people did that in the nutbar states it would make things easier to control - walls could be built etc.

If that fat fuck runs his heart will explode. I don’t think he’s run in at least 10 fucking years

When you only see one set of footprints, Jesus was carrying him ... making Jesus stronger than I am.

Voting for fat politicians is a bridge too far. Fat cops earn no respect from me either. What these guys and gals are all about is written in their waist size. No self discipline shows without a word being said. The phantom worship is the double whipped cream on top.

The Christian Patriots he's talking about used to own his great-great-grandparents.

Presumably he's making a buck and getting some ego-stroking. In the real world he'd be stuck in a shit job.

It's a thing.

Christian Patriot movement

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For the political organization known briefly in 1912 as Christian Patriots, see United Christian Party (United States)
The Christian Patriot movement is a tendency within the broader American Patriot movement that emphasizes Christian nationalism. Like the larger movement, it promotes a revisionist interpretation of American history in which the federal government has turned against the ideas of liberty and natural rights expressed in the American Revolution.

You do realize that in many cases obesity is caused by a mental disorder that is very similar to bulemia and anorexia, right? And while there are some that eat just because they can, others do so because they have other more serious problems?

Every time I see a reference to that I feel shock all over again. Nothing but religion could be more ruthless to want to end Democracy for a theocracy. I know a couple whose church espouses that stuff, I call it Talibangelism, and it is just as dangerous as any philosophy or religion that originated in the Middle East.

Is that what the bible calls gluttony?

Obviously. That's what I'd hope to convey but see I missed the mark.

I don't know... I thought it was kind of hard to misunderstand this statement:

About the title…

He is probably somewhat correct.  The somewhat comes from the fact those claiming to be Christian are in fact simply using that identity to sucker the faithful.
That which we shall have is ruie by rich shite guys which is funded by corporations and kept in power by the votes of fearful uneducated racist lower class white folks whose support is bought by giving them the impression they are better than those inferior colored skin folks.

By 2050, China will be ruling most of  the world with only the Germans, Scandinavians, and a smattering of others still enjoying constitutional democracies.

South America will still remain pretty much as it is…… a fucked up mess
