Interprotect gets very hard and not easy to sand smooth, that's why it's important to apply it smooth to start with.

Best is spraying it, but not recommended for amateurs as it requires a fare amount of specialized spray and safety gear.

If you roll it on use a short nap roller and make sure you don't leave any tracks, like  the edge of the roller tends to do.

Wet sand with a block to suit.

80,120,320 grit...back side of 320 B)

Oh, and keep it off the bunks for a few days to harden up.

Interprotect sands ok if you get to it the next day. If you wait until fully cured it's hard as hell and will double or triple your sanding time.

in my experience, theres about a three day window. first day its too soft and gums up the paper, second and third the stuff is awesome and theres grey dust every where, fourth day you are sanding a rock. but the results awe worth it.

Lead instantly oxidizes

Grind  the lead bright then paint immediately

many times this means several separate small repair patches

To prevent wicking , Do not apply the primer to naked lead with a roller .. use brush or spray only
