And the carbon fiber: engine box, companion way stairs, rudder, tiller, toilet, coffee cup holders, etc. etc. Not to mention the total lack of furniture or anything non essential. There is not even any dust on board and since she is dry sailed, there is little moisture in any structure...
And that's empty weight. There is a lot more gear on Crux and the personal gear of Carlos & Peter is probably more than the total gear for the 6 crew on Azzurro (including any contraband smuggled past Shane)!

Sir Ben said that one of his crew did ask "do you see the other boat", so that was likely Hannah.
Sir Ben is known for taking things to the limit and also not welcoming tactical input other than raw...

I'm not sure the dynamic on team GB is one where you can shout "up Up UP!" at the helm and expect to either be noticed or on the boat next race!
I'm expecting that the GB crew all just assumed Sir Ben...
It's not cheating, nor faking. It's called match racing. Ok this was a 3 boat race but Australia has got away, leaving 2 boats to duke it out.
